Tonawanda, NY

snow -4 °C

Ok maybe not the most adventursome place but I'm just getting started! I left The Ridge on Saturday and headed to Cleveland! A great sunny day for the ride and of course topped it off with a stop at Bob Evans! Stayed with lovely folks, ate chinese for dinner and was off for a short nap. Very Short! Up at 2am to get to the bus station... So, the train was late - no big deal. They had overbooked the train and put me in the dining car. The man who took my ticket said,"have a seat and we will get you accomidated." I never saw him again! So the dining car is not like the ones you see in the movies. It was like sitting at a table in McDonalds. The seat was hard plastic and the table was connected! I could not even slouch to get comfortable!!! The door to the car stayed ajar for the whole trip and snow was flying in at us - very very cold! The trip was only from Cleveland to Buffalo (3hrs) so I managed to keep from freezing solid and amused myself with headphones and mini chocolate bars. I arrived in Buffalo to find my sister waiting with hot chocolate and a warm car! How lovely is that? I plan to do a Buffalo version of Fat Tuesday tomarrow and gamble in Niagara Falls on Friday - Wish me luck!!!
